You Can Get Paid to Do Surveys!
Most large company that produce goods and services have no direct contact with their ultimate customers, the consumers who pick their products up off of supermarket shelves, in WalMart or any retail store. It’s all rather impersonal and at a distance. The problem these large companies have is that they must know what consumers think to improve existing products and start new ones.
This situation creates employment for professional marketing researchers, who get hired to measure consumer opinion and get the information these large companies depend on so much. The marketing researchers use surveys (almost all are made online, over the Internet now) to get answers. They send out thousands of surveys daily. And how do they get people to sit down and fill out the survey questionnaires? Easy. They pay them for their time and opinions!
That’s how you have the opportunity to participate in paid market research.
All right, great! So how do you get in? How do you start? How, exactly do you get paid to do surveys?
In order to get in you have to be invited to participate. The way you get invited is to get your name and demographic data on file with a number of good survey makers, the people who actually send out the surveys, the ones who maintain lists of prospective survey participants.
Of the more than 700 survey makers in the U.S. (Over 3,000 worldwide) only about 20% are first class, offering only legitimate paid online surveys that pay well and respect your privacy. The second tier, about 40%, pay less but are still worthwhile. The last 40% are just no-pay/low-pay time-wasters and sales companies, to be avoided!
Fine. How then do you find the good survey makers and avoid the bad ones?
Start with a reliable paid online surveys review site. They keep track of which paid survey membership sites have good lists and which do not. Just check on the link in this paragraph to check out a good one.
