Potty Training Ideas

Many toddlers have had a parent try to potty train them when they were between the ages of two and three. Many toddlers have had success at this age but there are many toddlers who are not really ready for this hurdle.

Potty training needs to be done when your toddler is ready. Toddlers will show signs that they are ready for potty training. Watch to see if your toddler hides to do a number two. Your toddler may want to see what you do in the bathroom because they are caurious. Many toddlers will ask to be changed when they have a wet diaper. Some ask to be changed. This is like new ideas usually. Your toddler is ready to be potty trained when this happens.

Parents are the ones who need to be potty trained, it is true and you have heard it before. It happens to be true because we are the ones who need to take some time out of our busy days to encourage and praise our children. If you do not take the time then your child could be in diapers when it is time for them to go to kindergarten. Sometimes this is the same as old diapers. I’m not saying that this is bad that is if you like to change diapers.

When your toddler has shown you signs that they are ready for potty training then you must take the time to teach them. It will only take a few days to have your toddler potty trained for the day. Look for signs that your toddler is using his diaper for a toilet on the first day and tell your toddler that you have a potty for him to do that in, unlike toddlers usually. Enforce the potty chair and try treats when it has been used. Potty training is a simple part of parenting you can look for more information online.
