Loft Beds and a Tiny Room
Here in Billings, Montana, we have developed an entire area that lives in the newly created tumbleweed home designs. Now these new dwellings are a big change from what we as Americans have become used to. Instead of 3 and 4,000 square foot homes, what we have here is closer to 3, or 400 square foot.
Now, I know what your wondering, how in the world do you live in that? Well, the answer is loft beds, standing showers, microwave ovens, micro stoves, small refrigerators, micro, small, and more micro. We have found that in these money times, and in comparison to other world standards, these diminutive options are a genuine solution. The loft beds, create a tremendous amount of space.
Some of these models come with the popular Murphy bed functions, but the Morphy’s don’t double as usable spaces, in most cases. I couldn’t promote these things, unless I had tried them myself, so for three years, I lived in the 250sq foot model. Now, granted, I’m a only guy, and I have been a bachelor for the past ten years, but it really wasn’t that bad at all. I had this really unique kids wooden loft bed, and just about every feature available, and I was fine.
My only complaint, was the wind. When the winds picked up to about 50, or 60 miles an hour, or better, it was a bit uncomfortable, but apart from that, I definitely enjoyed it! Now when you consider thinking about a family, you can consider the roomier models, and also consider hooking them together, kind of like Legos.
