A diamond shines with the light

Light is the element which adds fire and flame to a diamond and brings your engagement ring to life. The way the light shines through a diamond or how it is reflected by the diamond determines the brilliance and attractiveness. Weight, purity, color, shape and cut of a diamond is established on the basis of the 4 C’s. The combination of Cs determines the value of a diamond.

CLARITY: the purity of a diamond; the fewer inclusions the better

Carat Weight 

The weight of diamonds is, as the weight of many stones, expressed in carats. The name carat is derived from the Greek name for the carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua).
